Mac Powell - Don't Stop

This is such a fun video to be a fly on the wall of one of the most beautiful concert settings in the USA. Check out this live performance of Mac Powell - Don’t Stop.

Just the start of this video gets anyone pumped up. Mac Powell is an incredible motivator and performer. His band gets everyone excited about what they are singing about. So often, we hear songs that are somber in the faith. It is wonderful to show those emotions, however, God also tells us to make a joyful sound. This song is definitely a joyful sound. Mac Powell decides to play a throwback song from a different “Mac,” the band Fleetwood Mac. The chorus sings.

“Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone”

The band sings and plays in front of beautiful red rocks. They are all interacting together and with the audience, and it is a blast. Mac tells everyone to give it up for the electric guitarist, who then plays a solo, and it is incredible. Afterward, they clap and get the crowd to sing along with them acapella for a spectacular moment.

As the camera zooms out, you see the masses of people gathered to worship our great God. It is motivating that Jesus came for us and already won. We do not have to give up or stay down, because we share in that victory. The amazing setting of the Rocky Mountains with the Christian rock band gets us pumped up in our faith. We can celebrate and join in with Mac and his band as if we were there in person worshiping too.

“Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20

Anna Golden - Because Of You

Gospel Artist Anna Golden leads us in worship with her inspiring song, ‘Because Of You.’

In the midst of hardship, God is with us each step of the way. His presence reminds us he painted the heavens, he set the earth on its axis, and he knew the trials and triumphs we would encounter.

Anna’s worship song points us to the savoir who is in control of the universe even when it seems like humanity has found a whole new level of crazy. Peace and joy are found when we turn away from the world and set our sights on Christ. When we steal ourselves away to be alone with Christ and worship, he strengthens our spirits and whispers the never-ending promises of his love and sovereignty.

“Because of You I see a new horizon
Because of You all my fears go quiet
I know You hold the whole world in Your hands
And this life is worthwhile all because of You”

What if we went from singing these encouraging words to believing in our hearts he holds us in his hands? These lyrics prompted me to reflect on my past experiences with God. As I thought about the difficult circumstances I had faced,

I remembered how God was there to be what I needed in those moments. He was my redeemer, my comforter, my warrior, my strong tower, my peace, and so much more. His love and presence were no match in all my struggles.

Let Anna’s melodic and pure voice of worship, enveloped in soft tones and accompanied by ethereal strings, usher you into a precious moment with your heavenly father. May this song be a blessing to your soul.

“I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live,” Psalm 116:1-2.

Stephen Stanley - Holding Me Up

Christian rock artist Stephen Stanley leads us in an upbeat song glorifying God titled, ‘Hold Me Up.’ With a Creed tempo and style, Stephen’s music pumps up the level of praise as if we are running the race of our lives. If you want to experience engaging and encouraging Christain rock, Stephen Stanley is your man!

“God’s still holding me up.
There’s gonna be trials, troubles, and sorrow.
God’s still holding me up.”

This song showcases the raw honesty and realness of walking with Christ in a world that is not our home. We’re human, we have feelings. We face temptation. We’re flawed and imperfect. There are circumstances beyond our control. We don’t have control over the outcomes of life but we do have promises from God that he will work things out for our good and his glory even if we don’t understand the purpose.

What I love most about this empowering song is that Stephen reflects on our humanness. In spite of our mistakes and mishaps, he encourages us to keep reaching for Jesus because Jesus is still reaching for us. We need this reminder more than when we focus on the negative instead of the positive.

“I’m sick and tired of comparison and all those wasted moments.
I was looking for a guiding light. What I found was a jaded mind
I’m learning to let things go, I’m trying to live on hope
And even when I let myself down, I’ll still be here tomorrow
God is still holding me up.”

No matter what, God holds us in the palm of his hands. He cares about every part of our lives and he’s our cheerleader as he watches our journey through life.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand, Isaiah 41:10.”

‘Get Back Your Fight’ Sarah Reeves Lyric Video

Christian music artist Sarah Reeves has released the official lyric video for her new song “Get Back Your Fight.”

In life, people will encounter several situations that bring about fear and anxiety. Understanding that these are uncomfortable and unpleasant feelings, people will naturally avoid circumstances when those emotions are likely to arise. But isn’t doing so only to our detriment?

Sure, fear, at times, helps to keep us safe. There is a fear of jumping from towering heights or swimming in the deepest parts of the ocean. However, fear can also keep us from reaching our full, God-intended potential.

Fear will also cause people to avoid confronting problems, only letting them grow and multiply. Fear keeps people from being honest with themselves about an issue or a situation. As Sarah’s song, “Get Back Your Fight Back” mentions, “Fear is a lie.”

Sarah points out in the song that fear is a trick the devil uses. Fear causes people to believe that things are much worse than they appear and that they are all alone. All of which are lies from Satan himself.

God’s Word, several times, states how He will never leave or forsake us during our time of need. He will remain by our side through it all.

In the song’s chorus, the singer-songwriter mentions how, if you keep moving forward during a trying situation, you’ll get your fight back one day. While the present circumstances may seem bleak, the future is bright, she sings.

“Fear is a lie, we’ll be alright
Don’t let this battle take days off your life
Sun’s gonna shine, future is bright
Promise one day you’re gonna get back your fight”

Sarah’s song is a terrific track with a positive, uplifting message about overcoming and defeating fear and the lies that often accompany it.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

‘Heaven Changes Everything’ Big Daddy Weave Official Music Video

One Christian band, Big Daddy Weave, performs a lovely, uplifting song about how the promise of everlasting life with Jesus Christ in heaven has shifted their perspective on everything in life.

As that verse of Scripture, John 3:16, mentions, “God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not die but have everlasting life.” Because of this hope and faith in Jesus Christ, Christians know Earth is not their final stop, not their eternal home.

Those who believe in Christ and accept Him into their heart as their personal Lord and Savior are promised heaven. Earth is nothing but a temporary place, with heaven as the destination. Things now do not seem so big and don't hurt as much. The death of a loved one is not the final goodbye. There will be a reunion in heaven.

“Heaven Changes Everything" is true and the title of a Big Daddy Weave song. In the official video for the tune, posted on YouTube, the guys mentioned how heaven has literally changed everything in their lives.

In the song’s opening verse, the lyrics state how tears and hurt do not hold much of a sting. Jesus, who is the Comforter and Protector, remains by our side, especially in times of trial and suffering. He provides the necessary healing.

“These tears would just be tears fallin’ down my face
And this hurt would just be hurt with no healing on the way
Thank You, Jesus
Heaven changes everything”

The second verse also points out how, because of Jesus, the death of a loved one does not hurt as much. That goodbye is but temporary, with a reunion set to take place in heaven one day.

Near the song's conclusion, the lyrics point out how Christ and looking toward heaven have altered how one forgives others. Now, because of Christ, there is peace and hope during times of great pain and grief.

Yes, Christ has changed the hearts and lives of many and continues to do so today. Praise God!

John 14:2 “In my Father’s house are rooms enough; if it was not so, would I have said that I am going to make ready a place for you?”

14-Year-Old Sings Angelic Rendition Of ‘Pie Jesu’ In Church

Former Britain’s Got Talent contestant Malakai Bayoh, who first amazed audiences and judges with his angelic voice on the show is back with another performance demonstrating his magnificent voice.

Programs like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent consistently change contestants’ lives. Even people who don’t end up in the top spot can still catapult to stardom. A stunning and remarkable performance can alter the trajectory of someone’s entire life.

One person who knows precisely what a marvelous performance on a widely viewed platform such as Britain’s Got Talent can do for someone is Malakai Bayoh. The teenager auditioned on the show with a mesmerizing performance of “Pie Jesu.” His angelic voice brought tears to the eyes of several in the audience. Simon Cowell also awarded the young man a coveted Golden Buzzer.

Now the young man with a heavenly voice is back. In a clip posted on YouTube, 14-year-old Malakai is once again performing the song, which first caused the entire world to recognize this young man’s talent.

Now, instead of Britain’s Got Talent stage, young Malakai is showcasing his immense musical talent in a wonderfully constructed and decorated church.

The video is simple and straightforward. It features Malaki standing inside a church, looking into the camera as he belts out the lyrics to ‘Pie Jesu’ with his operatic and stunning voice.

Throughout the nearly 3-and-a-half-minute clip, the camera explores the church, giving viewers a look at the ornately decorated house of worship. The typical razzle-dazzle and other camera tricks often seen in similar videos are not here. The focus is on Malakai’s vocal performance. When you sound like that, you don’t need anything else.

Malakai is a young man with a bright musical future. The video’s description does mention he has a forthcoming album, “Golden.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

‘No Name’ Red Rocks Worship Featuring Sarah Reeves

A group of gifted musicians beautifully performed a song about the power and strength in the name of Jesus Christ.

The world is a place filled with fallen and hurting people. Since sin entered the world through the bite of an apple, it has wreaked havoc. Sin has brought about disease and famine and destroyed relationships and marriages. Eventually, sin results in death. People have made a fantastic mess of things through their arrogance and disobedience.

However, God has made a way to bring fallen people back into a right relationship with Him. As John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

In a video posted on YouTube, Red Rocks Worship and Sarah Reeves sing about the powerful name of Jesus. While playing in front of an audience, the musicians sing about Christ and all the honor and glory owed to Him.

“All power, dominion
Honor and strength
All wisdom, glory, and thanks
All worship and wonder”

Later in the song, the musicians sing how once someone calls upon the name of Jesus, they will never ever be the same again.

Through the painful and wholly undeserved execution upon the cross, Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice. He willingly gave up himself, shedding his blood on the cross so that we may have a chance at everlasting life with him.

No other could have done what Christ did, and because of that love, there is power in the name of Jesus Christ.

Christ’s love and sacrifice all those years ago have and continue to change lives today. What a beautiful song with a wonderful message about Jesus Christ and the unending amount of reverence due to Him.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.’”

Matthew West And Daughter Sing ‘Before You Ask Her’

Christian music artist Matthew West and his daughter Lulu perform a beautiful song about the questions any young man interested in dating his daughter must ask himself and answer first.

Dating can often be a difficult, tricky and awkward process. Dating can also be weird for fathers of young ladies. Sooner or later, all fathers know that young men will start taking an interest in their daughters. However, fathers want to protect their daughters from physical and emotional hurt at all costs. If it means having a slightly awkward, tense conversation that is what they’ll do.

Matthew’s song “Before You Ask Her,” perfectly expresses the fears and hopes any father has for their daughter when it comes to dating and marriage. As the song title indicates, Matthew has a series of questions for the young man and others that his daughter’s potential suitor should also ask himself.

The opening verses detail a conversation between Matthew and the young man and all the questions he has for him. Like any father, Matthew loves his daughter and only wants the best for her.

“Will you hold the door? Be polite?
Pick up the tab? And treat her right?
Have her home by ten
And not a minute after?”

As the song continues, his daughter and the young man in the track have reached a big step in their relationship: marriage. But before that happens, Matthew has more questions and requirements for his daughter’s potential husband.

He asks whether he will always encourage her in everything, all her hopes and dreams. Finally, Matthew wants to know if the young man will always put his daughter and Jesus Christ in the top spots in his life.

What a beautiful song about the love a father has for his daughter. He only wants the best for his little girl. He understands how special she is and wants to ensure her future husband also knows this.

Psalm 103:13 “As a father has pity on his children, so the Lord has pity on his worshippers.”

King Of My Heart’ Bethel Music With David Funk and Amanda Cook

A collection of musicians gave a stirring performance, singing a tune about the goodness of the Lord.

The world is not always the friendliest, most uplifting and most encouraging place. In fact, often, it’s the exact opposite. People and circumstances in life can leave us beaten, battered and bruised. However, no matter what may happen, there is One who can be counted on to provide shelter and protection during the storm. He can make a way when it seems none is possible.

In Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bethel Music, David Funk and Amanda Cook perform “King of My Heart.” The song’s opening verse expresses the musicians’ request for God’s guidance and protection during troubling periods.

“Let the King of my heart
Be the shadow where I hide
The ransom for my life
Oh, He is my song”

Later in the song, the musicians repeatedly mention God’s goodness.

Also, they sing that God will never let them down. How do they know this? How can they be so sure that He will always be there, guiding and protecting? Throughout God’s Word, it points out that He will never leave or forsake us. He will remain by our side even during the storms and uncertainties.

He has always been faithful, never letting us down before, why would He start now? The short and easy answer, of course, is that He won’t. The God mentioned in the Bible is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow.

However, despite the promises laid out in the Bible, humans are not perfect, and doubts and questions do arise. About halfway through the 9-minute clip, the lead singer addresses the crowd and mentions this, telling them to lay those doubts at the feet of the Lord.

Matthew 21:21 “And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Truly I say to you, if you have faith, without doubting, not only may you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and put into the seas, it will be done.’”
