What happens when the nations rage, rulers rebel, and the world refuses to bow before God’s authority?
In this prayerful Psalm 2 meditation, Jaime Hampton leads us through a quiet, reflective time of breathing, confession, repentance, Scripture reading, and prayer. Building on Psalm 1, this episode turns our hearts toward the greatness, justice, wrath, and refuge of God.
Psalm 2 can feel intense, with its language of kings, rebellion, wrath, destruction, and God’s anointed Son. But for believers, it also carries a deeply comforting reminder: we do not stand outside God’s protection. Through Jesus, we are invited to take refuge under the loving authority of our powerful Father.
Jaime reflects on what it means to fear the Lord without being afraid of Him, to move away from small “vending-machine” prayers, and to pray with boldness for God’s kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
Take a few moments to breathe deeply, quiet your heart, confess what God brings to the surface, and remember: blessed are all who take refuge in Him.
