Family And Friends Surprise Wedding Couple With 'Stand By Me' Serenade

Weddings are emotional occasions where lifelong memories are created and one couple was the recipient of an unforgettable, touching moment from those in attendance.

A wedding ceremony is a joyous and serious time when two people come together and promise before God and their guests that they will love, honor and cherish one another. The couple also indicates that they understand life together will not always be pleasant but pledge to stick it out and stand by the other.

At one wedding, the bride and groom weren’t the only people who promised to stay together through thick and thin. As the video posted on YouTube shows, the guests surprised the happy couple with a melodic display of their commitment to the newlyweds.

The man officiating the wedding of Jackson and Allison tells the happy couple to turn and face their attendees. He explains how those witnessing their ceremony are their family and “will always stand by” them.

After those words, a man in the front row stands up and begins singing Ben E. King’s 1960s classic “Stand by Me.”

The couple is obviously surprised as the bride asks, “What’s going on?”

Next, a woman, a few rows back, stands up and begins singing the song. She is then followed by a third man who stands and starts belting out the lyrics to the song about commitment and love.

Seconds later, the officiant begins strumming on a guitar. All the guests are then singing “Stand by Me.” It was a beautiful and wonderful moment that caught the groom and bride off guard.

Several people then come forward to the front of the room, standing only a few feet away from the couple.

What a unique moment and a lovely show of devotion and support for the husband and wife as they head down life’s road together.

Dude Perfect Creator Tyler Toney On God, Fast Fame and Strains on Marriage

Money, fame and millions of followers on social media do not automatically make for a happy, fulfilling life. Instead, as one video points out, it can be quite the opposite.

Dude Perfect is a massively popular YouTube channel, with 59 million people subscribed to the account. The channel is made up of hundreds of videos that have racked up millions and millions of views.

Most videos on the channel feature the guys attempting and usually successfully completing insane trick shots. However, in a video for the “I Am Second” series, one of the channel’s creators, Tyler Toney, and his wife Bethany, explained why the fame, opportunities and followers became a burden to them and their marriage.

In the video, Tyler  begins by explaining that the idea for the channel actually originated from a group of guys he met during a college Bible study in 2009.

Soon after putting their first video on YouTube, the guys got a call from Good Morning America.

“And two days later, Good Morning America somehow got ahold of one of our phone numbers and said, ‘Hey, we would love to put your video on TV,’” Tyler said.

Then as the guys continued making more and more videos showing their impressive trick shots, additional opportunities began coming their way.

As the channel grew in popularity, Tyler wanted to quit his job and wanted to create Dude Perfect content on a full-time basis. Bethany, his wife, wasn’t on board at first.

“Naturally, I’m like, ‘No,’” Bethany said. “Because we have a mortgage and we just got married, ‘No, like, that’s, that’s so risky.’”

However, after some prodding and convincing, Bethany gave Tyler the OK to pursue Dude Perfect full-time. However, she gave him a year to make it a real job.

Bethany admits she was envious of Tyler and the Dude Perfect crew.

“He was getting to pursue his dreams,” Bethany said. “He was getting to do what he wanted to do, and I had jealousy of that.”

Bethany also mentioned the difficulties she and Tyler endured while trying to start a family. She talked about several miscarriages. She also stated that during this time, she was upset with God.

“I was so angry at God during that season of our life because I just felt God was ignoring me and that He wasn’t hearing my requests for things,” she said.

She also adds that she began to become “resentful” of her husband because of everything he was doing in his career and that she was at home in pain, struggling with loss.

Tyler, in the video, stated that he did not handle things great during this period. He said he put more emphasis on Dude Perfect and those opportunities than on Bethany during this time.

Tyler and Bethany did eventually get pregnant and had two children. At the time, Bethany found out that she was pregnant again. However, Tyler spent a lot of time away from home, working on Dude Perfect.

“So, instead of being excited about that pregnancy, like I should have been, it devastated me,” Bethany said. “Because all I could see was this is just another child I’m gonna have to take care of by myself.”

Their marriage was not in a good place.

Tyler, after many difficult and stormy days in his marriage, realized that he needed a relationship with Christ. He knew he needed to step up and become a spiritual leader for his household.

He formed a men’s Bible study group, which he mentioned, meets weekly at his house on Thursdays.

Things in their marriage have since improved, Bethany reports.

“Tyler just puts Christ at the center of everything in our family now,” Bethany said. “And whereas before he didn’t do that. And so, it’s just been, he’s a whole new person. I remember telling my mom, ‘I feel like I’m married to a new person.”’

Josh Groban Pulls 14-Year-Old On Stage For Shocking Opera Duet

Most can only dream of sharing the stage with their favorite musician, but for one young woman that dream became a reality.

In a video posted to YouTube, Josh Groban, during a concert in Green Bay, Wisconsin brought one fan on stage to sing with him. The clip starts with Josh reading from a piece of paper in his hand, calling out the woman’s name and seat number.

After discovering that 14-year-old Anastasia is right in the front row, the “You Raise Me Up” continues reading from the paper. In the note, the young woman admits that she loves opera and would like to sing a duet with him.

The singer then leaves the stage and walks on down, greeting her at her seat. After confirming that the woman would, in fact, like to sing with him, Josh takes her by the hand to a stage in the center of the arena.

The teenager mentions that she would like to sing one of Josh’s hit songs, “To Where You Are.” Seconds later, Anastasia is singing a duet with the one and only Josh Groban!

She kicks off the song and sounds amazing!

Near the 3:15-minute mark of the clip, Anastasia turns things up a notch. She shows off her impressive range, hitting high notes that soon has the entire audience cheering and clapping!

At the conclusion of her performance, the audience lets the young woman know how much they appreciated her. Everyone is again applauding. Even Josh was left thoroughly impressed by the teenager.

“Very surprising and spectacular,” he said. “You’re gonna get high fives all night, Anastasia.”

What a special occasion for that teenager! Josh, with kindness and taking a little time, gave that young woman a moment that she will not forget for the rest of her life!

Rainbow Appears As Funnel Cloud Moves Across The Sky

In life, awful, terrible circumstances can and do occur, causing fear, anxiety and worry to bubble up, but one video perfectly illustrates that there is hope and beauty just beyond the horizon.

As beautiful, breathtaking and majestic as nature is, it can turn deadly, resulting in loss and devastation. Hurricanes, wildfires and snowstorms can all destroy and wreak havoc. Tornadoes are another common force of nature that can end in property damage and even loss of life.

However, one video shows that during a tornado, something beautiful can come out of a storm. The video, posted on YouTube, shows a tornado moving across the sky in Champaign County, Illinois on Feb. 27.

While the funnel cloud moved across the sky in central Illinois, something rather spectacular happened. Moments later, a rainbow becomes visible. The rainbow can be seen in the video, stretching across the sky.

Then just as quickly as the rainbow appeared, it's gone. The funnel cloud also seems to dissipate.

Text in the video reads that prior to the video capturing the tornado, Champaign County had been under several tornado warnings. The following morning, though, after the rainbow appeared, those warnings were removed, the video’s text reads.

Even during the storm, when all hope appears to be lost, God is still in control. Yes, the storms of life may threaten us and might even leave us battered and bruised, but He will never leave or forsake us.

If we just hold on to God and have faith in Him during life’s many challenges and hardships, there is beauty and peace beyond the horizon. His love endures!

The video is an awesome display, showing that amidst the storm, there is still beauty and hope!

Flight Attendant Surprises Little Girl With Birthday Serenade From Entire Plane

Birthdays are always happy and highly anticipated occasions for children, but one little girl received a unique birthday surprise on a plane full of passengers.

Traveling by airplane may be the most efficient way to get from point A to point B. However, the time spent on the plane is usually not the most exciting or enjoyable. Most tune out the flight attendant’s safety spiel while settling into an uncomfortable seat, hoping to fall asleep before the aircraft takes off.

But one flight attendant and a plane full of passengers found a way to bring happiness to a little girl on her birthday. In the video posted on YouTube, a little girl looks inquisitively at the camera as the flight attendant speaks on the plane’s public address system.

“This will probably be the first and only time you’re going to hear a flight attendant ask you all to push your call buttons. Push ‘em,” the flight attendant says.

The woman filming the video instructs the little girl “to look.”

Per the flight attendant's request, the passengers hit their call buttons. Rows and rows of call button lights are on, up and down the plane.

The flight attendant next informs the little girl that this move is for her big day!

“Layton, look,” the flight attendant says. “These are the candles on your birthday cake.”

The flight attendant then gets the entire plane in on the act. Everyone helps celebrate the little girl’s birthday.

“So, we’re all gonna sing “Happy Birthday” to Layton and then she’s going to blow really, really, really hard and blow those candles out,” the flight attendant states.

Then, in unison, everyone on board sings to the little girl. Next, just as the flight attendant mentioned, the child blows her candles out. Some go out without a problem, but others require a couple of extra gusts of air.

What a creative, sweet and simple way to make a child feel special on their big day!

Matthew 18:10 “Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”

Epic Celebration On Basketball Court After Snow Day Announcement

In this video, there’s breaking news–tomorrow is a snow day.

Watch the epic celebration on the basketball court after a snow day announcement. A young broadcaster at Hamilton High School, Aiden Lynch, was giving the play-by-play announcement during a Hamilton Hawkeyes varsity boys basketball game when Aiden delivered the ultimate news: “Tomorrow is a snow day,” he cheered.

The entire crowd caught his enthusiasm. Their reaction was akin to winning a championship game. The students were jumping and cheering when Aiden made the announcement. His genuine excitement and the reaction of the students have since gone viral. He even caught the attention of Late Night Host, Jimmy Fallon who teased, “Wow that kid must really hate school.”

What happened? Well, here’s the recap. During the last twenty seconds of the game, superintendent Bradford Lusk walks into the gym and heads to the student section. When he delivered the news, the kids when be getting the snow day they were dreaming of. The crowd cheers and erupts into chanting about a snow day as they race onto the court.

That’s when Aiden decided to make breaking news. “Well, there are kids watching my stream right now. Why don’t we break this right here,” he said. He then announced, “Lusk just called a snow day right here at the student section.” He enthusiastically added, "Woo! No school for me tomorrow!” The crowd went wild!

I think it’s safe to say Aiden will be breaking news in the future as a sports reporter. Who knows, maybe we will see him anchoring Good Morning America. We definitely haven’t seen the last of him.

Will he get the same enthusiasm when he breaks other news? That all depends on whether or not it’s a snow day. It sure beats the way I grew up when I had to anxiously await for the news blurb to list school closings in alphabetical order. Breaking good news can’t be beaten!

8-Year-Old Raises $70,000 For Favorite Waffle House Waiter

One child saw a friend in need, so he stepped up and came through in a big, big way.

Everyone has their favorite restaurant and a preferred dish at that establishment. For one young man, his restaurant of choice is Waffle House. But in addition to a favorite Waffle House meal, 8-year-old Kayzen Hunter also has a preferred Waffle House employee.

So, when Kayzen learned that his favorite waiter – Devonte Gardner - was going through some hardships, Kayzen knew he needed to help his friend out. And so, he did, helping to raise more than $70,000 for Devonte.

Devonte, as the video posted to YouTube mentions, was experiencing car trouble, forcing him to walk or ask for a ride to work. Additionally, due to black mold, Devonte and his two children had to vacate their apartment and live in a motel.

Kayzen told his mother they needed to start a GoFundMe to help Devonte and his family out during their time of need. At first, the goal was $5,000, but that number was reached quickly.

Kayzen told Good Morning America (GMA) why he likes Devonte Gardner so much.

“Because he’s really funny. He treats everyone with respect,” Kayzen said

Devonte, Kayzen’s favorite waiter at Waffle House, mentioned their friendship was almost immediate.

“Kayzen’s a great guy,” Devonte said. “Ever since I met him, the first time I met him, when he came to my Waffle House, we connected and bonded from right there.”

When Devonte initially learned about the thousands of dollars raised for him, his mouth fell open and he began crying.

“There are some good people in this world,” Devonte said.

Devonte told GMA that whenever Kayzen graduates, whether elementary school, middle school, high school or college, he’ll be in attendance to support his friend.

A little bit of love, kindness, and….some delicious food can change someone’s life forever.

Crowd Steps Up When Music Stops During Cheerleading Competition

Check out this video where the crowd steps up to help a team when their music stops during a cheerleading competition.

After training for months, the Panthers cheer squad from Plano, Texas, were more than excited to put their cheer routine to the test at the All-Star national championships. But on the big day, during the middle of their routine, some technical difficulties happened. Their music stopped playing!

But the cheerleaders kept going, with the help of the audience! Without missing a beat, the 10,000 people in the crowd immediately started to count and clap to help keep the cheerleaders going. Typically, cheerleaders learn routines to an eight-count, which is what the audience was helping to count along with when the music stopped.

The Panthers cheer squad has 30 girls on it, with ages ranging from 14 to 19, and they shared a bit about how it felt on that day when the crowd helped them finish their routine.

“It just felt unreal,” one cheerlead said. “It was insane,” said another one.

“The crowd support was very helpful,” shared one girl. “They had our back, and they were counting the whole routine,” another cheerleader said.

Because of the support from the crowd and other cheerleaders in the arena, this cheerleading team was unshaken by their music stopping mid-routine. What a team effort! And many people online shared their thoughts on the event.

“That's what I call sportsmanship,” one person wrote on YouTube after watching the video.

“What an atmosphere of huge support. They all kept it going, cheerleaders and crowd. Talk about a wow moment. I was almost cheering myself,” another person commented online.

Way to go, Panthers! And what a beautiful reminder of how important it is to support those around you when they are in need.

Stepdad Formally Adopts Kids After Sweet Moment 26 Years In The Making

David Lacy, a stepdad, formally adopts kids after a sweet moment 26 years in the making. There is nothing like a father’s love. His hands protect, raise up, and hold us. David did this for his wife’s three children. For 26 years, he loved them as if they were his own children.

He did everything he could to be the best father he could be. He helped them with their homework and took them to sports practice. He was there to offer advice and act as a guide in decision-making.

He taught them how to drive and went to their high school graduations. He was there for the big moments and the little moments.

David was a father to his stepchildren in every way possible except on paper. For legal reasons, he was unable to adopt but that didn’t stop him from loving them as if they were his own.

During a special celebration, his kids had something they wanted to say.

“A dad isn’t defined as a man who makes the child but rather a man who extends his hands and time to help with the child’s raising. In his heart, he loves the child through anything. You stepped up and took care of our mom when she was broken.”

David began to tear up when his stepdaughter asked, “We have something we’d like to ask you. Will you finally adopt us and be our dad?”

Isn’t that incredible? What gift do you give a father who means everything to you? The right to be called his. David’s children applied to be adopted as adults and take David’s name. If this doesn’t make you get misty-eyed, I don’t know what will.

Being a parent is the job of a lifetime. It doesn’t end when children fly the nest. It’s safe to say, David’s children know where their forever home is–in his arms.

And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty,” 2 Corinthians 6:18
