Check out this story of a 74-year-old jogger who saved a woman from a burning building and then just continues on with his run.

74-year-old Greg Spike was out on a jog when he passed by a hotel in Oregon that was covered in giant flames. He got out his phone to film the terrifying sight, and shortly after that, he heard a faint voice calling for help. One of the guests was trapped inside the burning building and couldn’t escape!

Greg Spike, a grandfather of 16, immediately put his phone away into his pocket and started trying to help the woman in danger.

“I started yelling at her, ‘Get out of there! Get out of there!’ I thought, okay, I’m gonna help her down somehow,” shared Greg.

His phone was still recording in his pocket, and you could hear the whole rescue take place. Greg kept coaxing the woman to jump down from the building to get away from the fire, and he assured her that he would break her fall. That’s when she starts to lower herself down just enough to where her foot was almost at Greg’s outstretched hand.

“I thought if she could get over the railing and just fall and hit me, I could break her fall,” Greg said.

After the woman jumped down onto Greg, she embraced him and exclaimed, “You saved me!” She was alright because of the heroic actions of Greg Spike. Then as the fire department was on their way over to the hotel, Greg left the scene.

“I had to finish my run,” he says with a smile during an interview.

What an amazing man! The kind of guy we all hope is jogging by right when you need him. God bless Greg and his quick thinking and heroic actions!

It’s one thing to say you love Jesus. It’s another to be the hands and feet of Christ on a daily basis. A faith-based community in Austin, Texas, helps fight homelessness in an incredible way.  Mobile Loaves and Fishes was founded on the New Testament bible verse Matthew 22, “Love your neighbor.” 

Alan Graham, founder and CEO, says his mission is to love individuals exactly as they are and elevate them as Christ would. “The two essential human needs are the need to be fully and holy loved and fully and holy known. When you bring all that to the table, it creates an environment of welcoming,” Alan said. 

What started as a few trailers and tiny homes have grown into a community of hope. His focus is on the homeless with a disability. The entire community is self-sufficient and sustainable with fresh gardens and a mobile pantry. It’s become so successful they are planning to break ground for 1,400 more units with aid from the city. 

One resident by the name of JR was on the streets for more than 20 years. When he was asked about where would be without Loaves and Fishes he said, “Without this place, I wouldn’t be on the streets I would be dead. That’s the honest truth.”

Alan’s simple mission is inspiring volunteers too. Neil and Lynn Nolan gave up their suburban life to live in the community where they volunteer. They say it falls in line with what Bible says, “among the least of these.” 

They say it is incredibly fulfilling to walk beside the people they are serving. I have never seen the Bible carried out in such a loving, honorable, and miraculous way. We hope Alan’s mission continues to save lives and show the hands and feet of Jesus while sheltering the least of these among us. 

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself,” Matthew 22:37–39. 

Gender reveals just keep getting more fun. From pink powder to blue balloons, there’s always a fun way to reveal if you’re blessed with a bouncing baby boy or a precious little girl. In this wild video, the ugly stepsisters at Disney World help with a surprise gender reveal. 

Donimalina Aria and her husband, Jake Aria, planned a trip to Disney World for a special babymoon. While they were there, they enlisted Disney characters Anastasia and Drizella, Cinderella’s step-sisters, to help with the reveal. 

Anastasia and Drizella managed to not only stay in character but also made the moment a memorable experience. They even joked about why girls are better than boys and, at one point, said once the baby starts crawling, Donimalina can tie sponges to the baby’s hands and feet to help mop the floors so mommy doesn’t have to do all the work. 

Donimalina and Jake purchased two plushies, a Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Then they gave the gender slip to Anastasia and Drizella to help tell their friends and family what they were having. Dominalina and Jake closed their eyes, and when they opened them, they found out they were going to be blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Drizella and Anastasia cheered for team girl, and they were so excited they were jumping up and down instead of being prim and proper. 

Dominalina and Jake are big fans of all things Disney. They can’t wait to take their new little princess to Disney World to share in the magic of Disney! 

I imagine they were on cloud nine the rest of the day. What an incredible way to announce whether you’re having a boy or a girl. The evil stepsisters were thrilled to help participate in such a special moment. Congratulations to Dominalina and Jake. May your blessings abundantly overflow as you embark on the magical journey of parenthood. 

The amazing moment lost a 4-year-old boy, and his dog are found in the woods.

In this dramatic video, we see a body cam in the heart of the woods running towards a crying little boy. The poor preschooler has been lost in the woods. The mother picks up her son and holds him, and the boy says that he lost his shoe. The two are reunited, and you hear a sigh of relief from the mom. 

In the report, a New Jersey woman lost her 4-year-old son, and he and the labrador had been missing for one hour. The mom is seen running in the forest with the police rescue, quickly looking around for her boy.

As they hear a noise, they begin running toward the sound of the dog and boy. The two are unharmed and thankfully safe, not reunited with Mom. This is the kind of event that is a parent’s worst nightmare, and we see the encouragement of the mother not being alone in her quest to find her son. Thankfully they were able to hear the boy and rescue him. 

Viewing this video reminds us of the great rescue that God has for us. We were once lost but now are found. In this clip we witness a visual of what it is like for us. We are like the little boy lost in the woods. 

Without Christ we are stuck in the midst of our sin. However, Jesus gives us hope that He has provided a way out through His death on the cross and by His resurrection.

“Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10

One man’s mesmerizing TikTok pasta videos led him to feed the hungry in his community.

Ryan Peters started out by creating a challenge for himself that involved him making pasta. “This is day 1 of a new series I’m starting, where for every batch of pasta dough that I make in this series, the amount of egg yolks are going to double every single time,” he explains in his TikTok video. “In my head, I was going to make it to 512 eggs. That was going to be my cap. And clearly, here we are at over 2,000. So, I did not listen to myself.”

Ryan continued to double the eggs in his pasta-making videos, and the amount of pasta became overwhelming.

“When we had 512 eggs, that’s when I was like, man, this is way more pasta than me or my friends or family need or want. I was like, man, this could be a great opportunity for me to give back,” Ryan shared. 

“I got in contact with this organization called ‘Outreach Arms’ that basically just takes food donations from all sorts of places and then just distributes them to the people in the city. They will literally walk around downtown at times and just hand out food to the people that need food. So, for that 512 batch, I teamed up with them and brought them a bunch of food. After that, I’ve been able to connect with other organizations as well.”

Ryan has been able to make so many delicious pasta meals for people in need, and he says that nothing beats the impact that you feel when you give back to your community.

“Obviously, this doubling egg series can’t go on forever, but I think that the impact that I give can. Give back to my community in whatever way, just because of how inspired I’ve been through this. I think that has to continue, and it will continue.”

What a creative way to do something that he loves to do while blessing others!

One member of the Today with Hoda & Jenna show revealed rather devastating criticism she received and how she responded to it.

Children are a precious blessing from God. For most people, becoming a parent to one of those gifts from the Lord above is a lifelong dream. Children, despite all the crying, tantrums, late nights and early mornings, bring so much joy to a parent’s life. 

Sadly, for some, whatever the reason, conceiving a child is not possible. Adoption, giving a child a much-needed home, is one way to still become a parent. But, it appears that some still feel the need to criticize others for wanting to become parents. 

Hoda Kotb, a proud mother of two adopted children, recently recalled the harsh criticism she received about becoming a mother. 

“I got a letter that was addressed to me, in somebody’s handwriting, to my house,” she said. “I opened the letter, and it was something along the lines of ‘How dare you, bringing a child into this world at your age. Don’t you know what you’re doing to that child?’”

She added that the letter of criticism somebody felt so compelled to write and send to her went “on and on.” 

“It took my breath away,” she said. 

She revealed that the letter left her feeling in a bad state, he thought about her father. She thought about all the good parents can do for children no matter how much time they have with their children. 

“My dad passed when I was in college, and I remember thinking, ‘We have our parents for a period of time,’ she said. I know the foundation he left. I know it was worth every second of that time, so I thought about that, too.”

It's mind-blowing that anyone would feel the need and that they had the right to bash someone else’s decision to become parents, to open their home to children.

prvi put u povijesti nekih hodočašća po Svetoj zemlji, većina događaja prenosila se
je uživo video prijenosom preko Facebooka. Tako da su na tisuće ostalih bili sudionici hodočašća te upoznavali i vidjeli povijesna biblijska mjesta. Kao poseban znak u Maslinskom vrtu zakopali smo malene križeve u kaljenom staklu sa spomen pločom kao znak našega predanja Isusu. Svaki križić označava svakoga hodočasnika. Fotografije i video koje slijede dočaravaju bar djelomično te milosne dane.

Mama always taught us not to bite off more than we could chew. In this case, a pelican didn’t heed that advice. Thankfully a boater in Florida saves the Pelican with fish stuck in its mouth. 

Pelicans are one of the world’s largest birds. They are known for their vast bills, throat pouch, and feet. They’re also known for their sneaky and strategic hunting when drumming up food near oceanside restaurants. Some have even been known to swoop in and take food right off your plate. 

Their favorite food happens to be fresh fish. We’ve seen them glide across the water and scoop up a fish before flying off to devour it whole. In this wild video, a Florida man is encouraged by his daughter to save a bird. The young girl can be heard crying out, “He’s choking. Save him!”

The father approaches the Pelican, who is visibly stressed and confused. He had tried to gobble down a fish but didn’t notice the double hook attached to the fish. The hook latched into the Pelican and put him in a distressing situation. He couldn’t spit it out, and he couldn’t swallow it.

Realizing he needed help, the father approached the pelican slowly to assess the situation. He wobbled the fish back and forth as he attempted to get the hook out of the pelican’s mouth. 

After a few minutes of work, the pelican is free. Much to the delight of the little girl, he floats away with ruffled feathers but he is grateful to be out of the serious predicament he found himself in. 

Thankfully the bird is okay and hopefully will never make such an unlucky catch like that again. Now we have a reminder not to bite off more than we can chew. Thank goodness this boater was nearby otherwise, this bird would not have made it. 

In this jaw-dropping video a quick-thinking rider scares off a charging bear. 

Scripture tells us wisdom is better than gold. In this case, wisdom was life-saving. What was supposed to be a great day of riding the trails turned wildly bearish! 

When defending yourself from a brown bear, the best advice is to use what is on hand. It could be bear spray, a gun, or making loud noises. But what if you happen to be out riding the trails with your pals, and the only thing you have is your motorbike?

In this short clip that was posted to YouTube, it shows what happens after a rider in Bulgaria wrecks his dirtbike near a bear den. The rider jumps up just as a bear emerges from its den and goes after the stranded rider, who scrambles away from the supremely irked bear. 

Apparently, they had disturbed the peace and its home. The bear roars and closes in on the rider as his pals watch the hairy situation unfold. The only thing his friend can do is rev his engine as loudly as possible to startle the bear. 

The quick thinking of his friend and the sound of the engine revving likely made the difference between a close call and a bear attack. The startled bear quickly spins away and runs off as the rider revs his engine a few more times just for good measure. 

Most experts agree making loud noises in bear country can often act as a bear deterrent and alert bears to your presence. In the case of this video, the man was blessed with this life thanks to the quick thinking of his friend. Praise God, it was a close call instead of a bear attack! 

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom,” James 3:13. 

Security cameras are typically in place to deter or catch bad guys, but in Alaska, a camera captures a moose entering a hospital to eat the lobby’s plants!

We are so blessed in America! We have fifty amazing states, each with its own points of interest and personality, and Alaska is definitely full of personality. 

All sorts of images come to mind when we think about the 49th state. The idea of a moose wandering into a hospital isn’t so far from what we might expect. Still, it was an eye-popping experience for those hanging out at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage!   

The video begins after Mr. Moose is already in the door. He knew where he was headed—in the direction of the lush, leafy plant that we see to his left. There may be a whole crop of them that we aren’t able to see, too. He’s gotten turned toward the door by now, but he’s slow to exit. He stops briefly and seems to consider his options before leaving behind the foliage he covets.

At the same time, securing and hospital officials close in around the big guy, leaving him little room to turn back and only one way out. As he moves reluctantly closer to the doors, they slide  furniture in the same direction, creating a barricade behind him. Hospital visitors remain calm, as does the moose, and he eventually exits the building. 

Being in a hospital is usually connected with sad and worrisome scenarios. Even in the best of situations, it can be boring. So, the young moose provided a healthy dose of fun for folks. They took pictures and now have a great story to share, and there was no harm done. 

And how can we blame the child moose? He doesn’t have antlers yet. He doesn’t know that while hospitals like plants, they aren’t often welcoming members of the animal kingdom inside! Maybe, there’s a large animal veterinarian down the road!

“O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom, you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.” Psalms 104:24

Some kind and caring people rescued a dog who found herself in a terrible, painful situation.

Dogs are precious beings created and put on earth by God. They are a special part of His creation. Being created by God, they deserve kindness and compassion. In addition to that, canines are kind, loving, loyal and make terrific companions. 

However, one of these lovable and loyal special creatures was in an awful position. In India, a dog had somehow managed to get her head stuck between metal bars in a fence for more than eight hours. No matter how much she tried, she was unable to free herself. 

Her painful yells, with her hoarse voice, are almost too much to bear. It’s always tough to watch a poor, defenseless animal suffer in pain. 

Luckily, though, some kind strangers came across the animal who was in severe distress. They could see the animal was in trouble and quickly went to work, trying to get her free.

The people try several times to pull the animal free but don’t have any luck, resulting in the animal screaming out in pain. But nearly halfway through the clip, at approximately the 1:30-minute mark, they may have come up with a solution.

They started lathering the metal bars around the female dog’s head with oil. At the same time, one of the people assisting in the rescue pulls the dog’s head backward until it’s free.

The freed animal immediately darts outside, and we soon see why it took off so quickly. The dog has puppies awaiting her return in a nearby bush. 

May God bless those kind people who stepped in to help a poor, defenseless animal who was in serious agony and discomfort.

Check out this adorable 5-year-old preacher named Luke Tilman, who shares scripture with Jennifer Hudson on her talk show.

In a video that went viral online, Luke Tilman was seen baptizing his stuffed animals. Now he shares his joy and love for the Lord online, and he was recently on The Jennifer Hudson Show to share more about himself and his family.

The first thing Luke shared with Jennifer Hudson and her audience was some scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” 

The little guy shares the words with so much passion that Jennifer tells him it gave her chills!

Then Jennifer asks Luke if he’s been swimming with his brothers since the weather is so nice out. “Yes, we’ve been splashing,” he said. “I should be grateful that God gave me a choice to do that.”

What a precious young soul! Luke also talked about how he enjoys dancing with his older brothers and making videos with them.

“Oh, we’ve been doing TikToks!” said Luke. “My brother Issac, he made me a TikTok account, so we decided to do that.”

Luke’s mother shared about her other boys as well as some of their interests. “We have four boys,” she said. “Ezra is the oldest. That’s the basketball player. Micah, he’s vegan and wants to get into cooking and things of that nature. Then we’ve got Issac who’s the TikTok dancer and soccer player. And then we got little Luke.”

“Drama. Pastor. Luke!” the little guy explains loudly as he proudly describes himself.

“There it is!” replied his proud mom.

Luke’s dad also shared how proud he was of Luke and the young boy that he is. “I’m in awe of this young guy. It’s amazing to see how his life has been bringing so much joy into other people’s lives,” he said. “I just watch him sometimes and say, ‘I’m looking at Jesus talk to me.’”

“It’s just amazing how God has used him to spread love and joy. And so many people just really take to him around the world,” shared Luke’s mom.

What a fantastic job these parents have done in raising this little man who loves the Lord. God bless them all!

One family hasn’t had a girl in five generations. But after 138 years, they welcomed their first baby girl!

Carolyn and Andrew Clark have a four-year-old boy named Cameron, which was expected when you look at Andrew’s family tree. Andrew is one of three boys. His dad is also one of three boys. His grandfather is one of four boys. And his great grandpa was one of two boys.

The last time there was a girl in Andrew’s family line was back in 1885! 138 years ago, back when Grover Cleveland was president.

“There’s been quite a boy run for a while,” shared Andrew.

That is, until now. Carolyn and Andrew Clark recently welcomed a little girl to the family and named her Audrey.

During the family’s gender reveal, everyone at the party was completely overjoyed and surprised to find out that a baby girl was on the way, something that hadn’t happened for the family in five generations.

“We were very shocked,” said Carolyn.

And when Andrew and Carolyn first were married, he had to make sure to let her know that they may never have a girl. “Yeah, I kind of explained to her, having a girl is a very low chance in my family. We haven’t had one in 130 and some odd years at that point,” shared Andrew.

But now that Audrey is here, the family is just overflowing with happiness.

“We’re just thankful that she’s here and that she’s healthy and we get to enjoy her,” Carolyn shared.

And many people shared their well-wishes with the family online after hearing about their story.

“She’s the family princess. Such a lucky little bundle. Congrats and best of luck,” one person comments online.

“138 years? Wow, that's very unique,” another person writes on YouTube. “She's got some very special treatment coming her way.”

It’s safe to say that this family will be doting on their baby girl for a while. Congratulations to them all!

One legendary and beloved entertainer shared some words of wisdom which everyone can easily apply to their lives.

Carol Burnett has been entertaining people for decades. She has brought laughter into the homes of many with her trademark wit and one-of-a-kind comedic talents. Her humor and grace have served her well throughout her long career. 

On her 90th birthday, during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the comedian took some questions from the studio audience. Instead of hoping to learn more about Carol’s career or The Carol Burnett Show, one female audience member wanted Carol’s best advice for life.

“In the 90 years that you’ve been on this planet, what would you say is the most important thing you’ve learned?” one audience member asked Carol.

Carol quickly answered as one might expect, using humor.

“Do you have about 40 hours?” Carol said.

This response caused several members of the audience to chuckle. But then, after a few moments, after the laughter died down, Carol gave an answer that does make a lot of sense, coming from a comedian.

“Not to take yourself too seriously,” Carol stated.

What terrific advice! 

How much better would this world be if people did not get so upset and worked up about every little perceived slight? Not every situation is a life-and-death matter. People need to relearn how to take a joke, especially when it comes at their expense. 

Also, as Carol answered other questions from the audience, we learned that she has a thing for one of the biggest names in Hollywood: George Clooney. How Carol revealed her crush on “The Ides of March” star caused Kelly to double over in laughter. 

In the clip, Carol also revealed where and how she developed her famous Tarzan yell.

The beautiful and incredibly youthful Deborah Norville introduces the story and video that captures the moment 5 boys were rescued from New York City sewers, and, while Ms. Norvelle doesn’t seem to age a bit, no doubt there were several parents who lost years during the frightening ordeal!

Five 6th-grade boys entered the Staten Island underground sewer system to explore. That doesn’t sound at all worrisome! Though this batch of boys probably isn’t familiar with the 1985 movie The Goonies, the reporter reminds us that their trek through the city’s tunnels is reminiscent of the Goonies gang’s crazy adventure.

With only the light from a cell phone, the boys explored the tunnels. But, suddenly they became lost and unable to find their way out of the sewer. Remarkably, one of the boys got a signal and called 911 from his phone. 

Once connected with emergency assistance, a city official with knowledge of the sewer system got on the line. While the boy on the call sounds fairly calm, Jovanny shares that the experience of being stuck underground was “very scary and very, like, confusing.” He, along with Cory and Declan, share their story on video, but the other two boys may be on house arrest!

The man on the line asks the boys which direction they turned and how far they walked; he’s trying to figure out their location. At any time, the cell signal might have been lost or the phone’s battery might have died. As searchers hunt for the boys in the tunnels, the city employee tells the boys to yell for help and scream as loud as they want. The rescuers need to hear them.

The video shows the moment when emergency personnel find the boys. What a wonderful relief! 

The friends say they learned a lesson—“not to climb into sewers.” Hopefully, that lesson will be remembered in similar situations as well. Don’t go into a blizzard on foot. Don’t taunt an unfamiliar dog. Declan’s dad, Andrew Gannon, says that the friends were very shaken up but otherwise fine. 

The boys may not agree. Deborah closed by letting viewers know that Cory, Declan, and Jovanny all are grounded! 

“Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.” Deuteronomy 8:5

Children have creative little minds, and with the right direction, we can help them find their God-given talent. 

A little boy, Lenny McNaughton knew exactly what to do with his gift, and it stunned everyone. His aunt was overcome with emotion after seeing her nephew’s special painting. 

She was overwhelmed, and she commented, “He chose me as his subject. This is something I will treasure forever.” She added, “I’m not normally speechless, and I am speechless.” 

Lenny joined the Archibold competition, which is known for its prestigiousness in Australia. The only rule for children participating in the competition was to do a portrait of a person who they valued in their lives. Lenny chose his Aunt Steph but opted to surprise her at the gallery event. She had no idea. 

Aunt Steph meant the world to Lenny, and he couldn’t wait to show her. When Steph walked through the gallery and saw the portrait, she felt both honor and humility. She deeply appreciated her nephew had used her favorite flowers in the portrait. 

She said, “He chose me as his subject, and that is something I will always cherish.” It’s the little things that add value to our relationships. We have no idea what kind of influence we have in the lives of others. 

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” 1 Peter 4:10.
